Mahindra Bolero
Mahindra Bolero (AC) — The workhorse for rough roads — built for the ghats and the interior, not for looks.

Best for
- Ghat and hill routes such as Daringbadi and the Kandhamal interior
- Village and tribal-belt travel where the surface is unpredictable
- Groups who value ground clearance over cabin polish

Mahindra Bolero — questions
Capacity, best use and booking.
When is a Bolero the right choice over an Ertiga or Innova?
On bad roads. The Bolero’s ground clearance and suspension are built for the ghat sections and interior village roads around Daringbadi, Kandhamal and the tribal belt, where a lower vehicle spends the whole trip picking its way around potholes.
Is the Bolero comfortable for a long highway drive?
Honestly, less so than a Scorpio or Innova — it is a tough vehicle rather than a smooth one. For a long run that is mostly highway we would suggest the Scorpio or Innova instead, and keep the Bolero for routes where the road quality is the problem.
