What time should we leave to see the dolphins?

An early-morning start (by 6–7 AM) gives the best chance of dolphin sightings, as boat traffic and heat both pick up later in the day — we plan the pickup time around this.

How do we pay for the Chilika boat ride?

Boat rides at Satapada are run by a local boat cooperative and paid for directly there — this isn’t included in the cab fare, so plan for that as a separate on-the-spot cost.

Can we do this trip starting from Puri instead of Bhubaneswar?
