Rath Yatra — the chariot festival of Lord Jagannath — turns Puri into one of India’s largest gatherings, and turns getting around into a logistics puzzle: the Grand Road (Bada Danda) and the temple area are closed to vehicles, roads are diverted, and app cabs surge. How festival-day travel works
On the main pulling days, no cab can reach the temple.
